Hahaaaaaaaa I'm sooooo excited!
My first aquisition for my costume! I bought blue hairspray today! Two cans, since my hair is long like Emily's. The shop lady said it was the best brand on the market, and that I should not worry, cause it will come off right on the first washing! Oooh I can't wait!!! :-)

Oh, I must warn you, though, when hairspray says it will come right out first washing, it often takes, like, six to get all of it out.

Huzzah, Huzzah!!!! The dress part of the costume is made!!!! And today I got my first withering rose for the bouquet! The costume is being prepared!!! I'm so happy!!! Here's some pictures!  (I'm wearing pants cause the socks are not yet prepared, but they will be soon enought!  And here's the tale of the dress! I'm sooo proud! |

Ah-haaaa!!! Finally one more update to he costume! With the skirt part already done, the bigger deal will be the top part. I'ts getting close! This time I ended up the veil (only needs some flowers in the front of it). I'm getting so excited! :-) Here it is:  It's folded in the middle, cause it's very long and that way I couldn't take a decent picture of it. I'll take a pic of the detail with the flowers when it's done! |

Ok people! I haven't been here t the forum cause I was very busy on making the costume and all the rest of the ordinary things in my life. Carnaval night was before yesterday and I went out with some friends and had a blast! Everyone talked about my costume and even was interviewed by a newspaper reporter! I had so much fun! Here are some pictures:    I hope you liked it! I loved having so much fun! |

Thank you, undead user! My mum also have credits for this costume! Without her, I would have taken 3 or 4 times more time to do the costume! And for the first time in my life i absolutely loved to be the centre of attention! :-P

I am hoping to dress up as Emily for Halloween too, I am in Australia, and usually we wouldn't celebrate Halloween but this year we are having a party, mostly to help my mothers boyfriend feel more at home since he is American. Should be fun but I feel a little silly, being 18 and having a Halloween Party. Oh well... I shall just get drunk, that should make it fun.

i went as emily this year...won second place in my school costume contest  dont know why, i totally f'd up the corset and the dress was shredded by the time i got home. basically i'm the loved one in my school of 50 kids, so they picked me because they thought i looked adorable XD they're very aware of my corpse bride craze...i bring the movie in every halloween and geek out in the practical apps room XD but yar, second place wasn't so bad....not like first place, Nathan who dressed up as a milk maid with rather large and saggy breasts ._. |
