I liked beetlejuice, but I think his batman was pretty awesome.
"You're just jealous because I'm a genuine freak and you have to wear a mask. "
Best. Quote. Ever.

Haha I love that quote. Batman was really good. Jack Nicholson is amazing, is he not?

My favorite Tim Burton movie would have to be Edward Scissorhands. It's a classic. Well....every Tim Burton movie is a classic, but Edward is my favorite one.

How can I choose? I love Batman, Sleepy Hollow, CATCF, The Corpse Bride and Edward Scissorhands! I think it will have to be Sleepy Hollow. Ichabod Crane is so cute!

Crap, I forgot to mention batman and batman returns. They're so classic and pure Tim Burton. It's sad he didn't get to direct batman forever - he would have saved it from being so camp

I really didn't like any of the Batman films after Burton stopped directing them. Not even Batman Begins, at least not as much. (Don't hit me!) And even though his films weren't as correct or true to the original comics, I think they were better developed and overall better films. Ah well.

I agree. I couldn't help but compare begins to the 2 Burton ones, and everyone disagreed when I said the Burton ones were better. ah well, lol.

Gah! Everyone disagreed with me too. Not cool. You can't hold your own opinions today anymore without someone becoming defensive or offended or mad.

It's such a wonderful story really. I love the moral of it, and it's so romantic at the end...aww. The music is so good, too.

You have no idea how many people I've asked to name their top 3 favorite Burton films And I already know everyone says Nightmare Before Christmas To which I reply: Ah, but he didn't direct And then they get shocked, because they never knew that. People nowadays
But that movie screams Burton and Elfman at the top of its lungs.
Nightmare Before Christmas, Edward Scissorhands, and Beetlejuice are on my top 3 so far. Sleepy Hollow was actually not very good at all, but by the end I was laughing so hard I had tears running down my face (then again, I always get kinda teary eyed when I laugh) I think seeing Ichabod go flying off the carriage in the chase scene, landing backwards on Daredevil, then looking forward to see the Hessian hanging on the back of the carriage, being dragged against the ground was too hilarious for me to handle. For some reason, I just didn't see anything in that chase scene coming, especially when the Hessian was surfing on the carriage, and suddenly he hit a log. Right before the carriage collided he made this jerky, surprised arm motion that just made me rewind and watch it again and again. But Tim could've been so better with that movie. I kind of figured that out when I saw Johnny Depp was Ichabod, the Hessian had the most personality, depth, intelligence, and expression, and he didn't have a head, and I was rooting for the villains
Anyway, I've rambled enough.
Nightmare Before christmas was my movie growing up. When everyone else saaid they loved Bambi or Dumbo or the Lion King (I actually loved that one too), I'd reply with "I love the Nightmare Before Christmas!!!"
Danny Elfman and Tim Burton make the best movie team in history
