I KNOW! Such a hard question. But just try! And if you must, a tie for first is allowed. My all-time favorite Burton movie would definitely have to be Edward Scissorhands. Why? Because it was absolutely amazing. But I'm not going to get into that. I'd type a novel. So...what's yours?

Oh good topic.
Let's see...
I love Edward Scissorhands and The Nightmare Before Christmas... but I also really really liked Big Fish. That movie was so amazing and great - besides it made my dad cry. ;D

My dad is a sap. He cried in ES. (he's a Burton fan.. it's in my genes.) But yeah, Big Fish was a great movie. And of course NBC.. I think my second favorite is either that or Corpse Bride.

Hm... ya see it's so hard to choose.
I mean, Burton has done some not so good movies too... but you still love them.. for some reason.
I really love The Nightmare Before Christmas... I think it was the first Burton film I ever saw.

Actually, I think that was my first one too! But I saw it a few years after it came out, and I was around five or six, and I was terrified of it. (Ironic, huh?) So the first Burton movie that I saw that I LOVED (at the time) was Beetlejuice. I think I first saw that when I was seven. I'm surprised I wasn't scared of it. Hmm. Weird.

Beetlejuice is kind of creepy! Creepy but great at the same time....
I think I was scared of Oogie Boogie in TNBC... but I loved the music!
It's so funny because my parents bought me the movie (I think it was in '94 or '95) and I've had it on VHS ever since.

Yeah... Oogie Boogie still kinda creeps me out. =P Aww! That's so cool! My dad kept all my old Disney movies on VHS that I've had since then, too. It brings back memories, you know? VHS's are just about obsolete, and it's weird... I grew up with them! I don't think I'll ever throw out my VCR.

Hehe, me neither. They're classic, VHS....
I love Oogie Boogie's Song... he's got one of the coolest songs in the movie. I just love the piano part... Gosh, Elfman's so great. ;D

Aww same here. The first time I saw I cried SO much. What a great movie. And funny too! I love those movies that made you laugh AND cry.. they toy with your emotions without going from one extreme to the other. I love it when you get emotionally attached to the characters. Tim's movies are great like that. Very complex and emotional.

Yeah exactly! He deserves so much more recognition than what he gets. I mean, they call people like Martin Scorsese a genius simply because his films are big budget and mainstream. Yeah, he's a good director, but no where near as good as Burton. Oh how unfair Hollywood is

Ahh true! I have grown to despise the word mainstream. And the word celebrity. I don't know...Hollywood is becoming too superficial for my liking. There needs to be more REAL actors and directors out there...like Johnny and Tim, for instance. More people like that, because they're the people that make movies enjoyable. They truly turn filmmaking into an art form. And the best part is that they don't care about what others are going to think. They just do their own thing, and it just so happens to be a very good thing!

I heard that! I love that movie. Too bad he wasn't credited though...he was one of the artists, I heard.
