They do... I mean I am Christian, and it makes me sick when I read the crap those people spew.

*is a Christian* I know. I read somewhere about some of them spewing off about the 'Land of the Dead' not being accurate. Oh I remember, it was in the Amazon summaries. Idiots. It's just a movie, albeit a very good one.

I'm a Christian, too, but it gets annoying when the really intense ones start whining that there's "witchcraft" or some piece of crap like that in something. I believe in God and all that stuff, but when it comes to witchcraft and death... I DON'T CARE!!!! And it makes it hard to get a good stash on Halloween- some lady was giving out little pamphlets that said "Halloween is the devil's holiday- don't celebrate it!" Happy Halloween, huh?

wow, that must suck , BJR, my whole neighbourhood always gives out candy( but there is some kid in my school who wasnt allowed to go trick or treating because his mom said that halloween was " evil " and : the devils holiday" or some crap like that )... oh, and i think that those people that say the land of the dead is not " accurate" are just stupid idiots looking for attention. well peh to them , cause, hey, no-one knows what happens after you die, right? i mean, it could possibly be like that! Or, it could be just being in total darkness, not ever feeling or seeing anything ever again... you never know...

*skirts away from takling about the death thing* I do love Emily. for a variety of reasons. Her beauty and kindness (sure she is a bit selfish, but hey, who isn't. She still made the right choice in the end) and her vitality. She is one of the most lively characters in the entire movie ironically enough, which makes me love her all the more.

But I've got friends who don't give a crap about the "devil's holiday" so we shall stick together! Fun should not be ruined by religion!!!

Okay guys, I know you are all having a harmless discussion about religion. But, its one thing to talk about how it was controversial with Emily [or anything from The Corpse Bride], and another to some how get onto how it affects Halloween. xD So please stay on topic! [And its also a good idea to go back to the topic if a global mod or an admin says that they are 'skirting away' from the topic. xD good old Sharon.] But even if its not a mod or admin that says it, you might want to still pay attention

Yeah, I just noticed the off topicness. Now. Where were we? Oh yes, I remember. Yeah, she did make a good choice at the end. Do you think she went back to the Land of the Dead? or maybe elsewhere? *shrugs*

Well, I know my idea wont exactly make much sense...seeing as its not like anyone from the Land Of The Dead are ghosts and stuff. But, here's my thoughts anyways xD
I think that Emily's 'unfinished business' was to get married, and since she found her 'love' , Victor, and realized that she doesn't want to take another woman's love from her, then she didn't have any other business because she didn't need to be married or in love. So she turned into ...butterflies... because she was 'done' with 'life'.
I got that idea from The Nightmare Before Christmas and how Zero's life is 'complete' when Jack and Sally were togther at the end, and he flew up into the sky and became a star. <33

Yeah... she really is. That's got to be one of the most beautiful pics of her. Oooohhh you seem to suffer the same "desease" I have. I got completely fascinated with Emily. I really feel connected to her, cause all she wanted is to finally meet the love of her life, just like me! And although I'm not dead, it seems I'm withering away without love... So I got so attached to her and felt so in tune with the movie and Emily! I have about 50 screenshots of Emily's expressions! She's so sweet! I love her!
