What do you think of the character Barkis?

Personally, I think he's one of the best villians ever brought to life. Seriously. He's just so sneaky and evil... Ok, he may not be my favorite character, but I like him nonetheless... just for being evil and sneaky. Now if only he were voiced by Tim Curry...

I LOVE BARKIS!!! He's just so... evil. It's simply amazing. And his evil laugh is awesome. If I could do his evil laugh, I'd scare away all my enemies. His voice is just... *drool* awesome.

Meh. Not one of the best villains. There's Disney's Hades and Scar, Oogie Boogie, the Hessian from Sleepy Hollow, Kroenen from hellboy, the Witch King from Lord of the Rings, along with Sauron.......you get the idea ^.^
He had a good voice goin for him, though

I didn't like him. Maybe it's that I'm an Emily fan or that I thought he was a weak villain... I don't know. I just didn't like him much

Tara, we arnt talking disney. we talking tim burton. barkis was an awesome villain for tim burton... he just needs more recognition Didn't know I was limited to ONLY Tim Burton movies Well, in that case, you've got: Oogie Boogie Lady Van Tassel The Hessian Beetlejuice (he was kinda the villain of the story) Then again, we aren't talking just Tim Burton Anyway, he didn't have much goin for him. Kinda.......too weird to like. The best kinds of villains are ones you can really understand/relate to/pity. I did none of those

Barkis... kindof annoyed me. In fact he seemed more like an afterthought to the story at times. He wasn't someone you could sympathize with or really understand. I still find it hard to believe that Barkis the little wierd man could kill someone, especially his lover. At least not by such overt acts as stabbing. He sounds and acts more like someone who would use poison. But that's just me of coures. ^^:

I normally worship all villains, but I just wanted to strangle Barkis. Mainly because I thought Emily was cool. As for how I thought he killed her, I think that the hole in the side of her head is a bullet hole. Mostly because I'm obsessed with particularly painful, frightening deaths for my characters. If I post my BJ fic, wait till you see what I have in store for him!

I like Barkis, though he is so foul to have killed off Emily for her money!!! Oh poor Emily! Anyways, I do have to agree that he was well the SECOND main plot in the story. He was a strange mystery. I didn't even think he was the one who killed Emily. But I liked his sneaky evilness. I worship evil villans also, but he was a cruel one. *grawr* Still, I like him. And his voice, that was great! ^^
