Tonight after I saw the movie again, I was wondering about the character ages. What age would you place each character? I'd place Victoria's and Victor's parents in their later 40s or 50s. I'd say Victor and Victoria are either 18, 19.. 20..somewhere in there.
What do you guys think?

Hm.. those are good estimates.. I mean, arranged marriages often happened when people were in their teens.

Yeah especially in that day and age, I would be surprise if Emily and Victoria where even 17 or even 16...

Oo.. good question! They were most likely in their late teens/early 20's, as you guys said. Their parents look a lot older...especially the fathers.

Yeah - I'd say Barkis may have been older (since he had whiter hair...) but I wouldn't know the exact age...

He did look a lot older... evil boyfriends/husbands/etc. in movies always look older and uglier. And then their girlfriends/wives/etc. always look younger and prettier. And the good guys who end up getting the girl at the end always are much more attractive and younger than the bad guys. I find this true in a lot of animated movies. I guess it's like a metaphor or something.

I guess that maybe Victor is somewhat in his late 30s or something and Victoria is probably in her early 40s cause she actaully kinda has the same sorta white hair as Barkis has. Emily, I think is probably about 29 years old. And as for Victor's and Victoria's parents, I think they are both in their 60s or 50s.

Haha, that's very true. Makes a lot of sense... no one in today's word would want the mean ugly guy sweep the young pretty girl off her feet, anyway.

But really, people today do suck. It seems to be all about appearance in today's society. It's unfortunate, but I know what you mean. I have trouble getting a boyfriend, because I happen to live in a town where all guys care about is looks. But I'm not upset about it, because I wouldn't want a boyfriend like that anyway. A lot of guys in high school are still immature, I think. Shoot. People today really care too much.

It's the sad truth. Really it is.
And yet, people tell me I'm pretty but I don't believe it because in today's society, pretty isn't enough.. you have to be friggin beautiful... *phew* Okay, no more rambling..

Oh, don't I know it! You have to be under 100 pounds and look like a supermodel. It's really sad. And whoever cares that much to actually try to look like that, is just giving in. I really think that there are people out there that don't care solely about looks when trying to find a partner. I mean, there must be, otherwise only gorgeous people would be married, you know? So I still have a flea's breath of hope in people.

But I tell ya until you get out of high school its is going to be like that. people are slightly more open in college, I promise ;D
