Hi guys, I'm sorry I'm not around here much, but this has been in the back of my mind, so I wanted to post it:
I'm not saying that I want to take away any sort of the fun here, but it seems like people only come here for the party threads. Now, it's nice the forum is getting attention but I feel it's for the wrong reason. Not saying the party threads are wrong - they're not... but I honestly feel like disabling this section of the board temporarily. I want to get your opinions on this before I do anything.

You're right, Genine. Most of the posts go in the party thread section of the forum. I have to admit that I can't find entertainment anymore without the party thread, but I don't think it can go in these boards anymore. Maybe someone can make a forum where we can talk about whatever we want, like Abarat or Phantom of the Opera, without worrying about the forum's main subject. I'd do this, but if my parents found out... ugh. It wouldn't be good.
If a new forum was made, we could move the party threads there. Because I know I'm not the only one who likes to go to them. That way this forum could once again be centered on Corpse Bride.
Well, there's just an idea. Hopefully you guys could think about it.

That actually is a pretty good idea... I don't know if I will have the time into setting up a new forum - seeing as how my soul (literally) belongs to the Ogunquit Playhouse... but if someone else could do that... then it may just work.

I was worrying about this for a while, too =/
The other thing I was worrying about was getting the forum back on its feet and on topic about CB again, since the movie's been out for a while now and people who have things to say about it have generally already said them. Even the TBC's getting kinda pathetic on topics ^.^;;;
I could make a forum, if we decide on that. I plan on getting members for the other ones I've neglected this summer, anyway

I'm cool w/ getting another forum. But of course I'll still be coming here quite often & chatting about CB 'cause this forum rox & Gen's the best mod ever. EDIT: I just made a new forum. Personally, I don't want to join a forum to talk about stuff other than CB... No offense, but I'm getting really annoyed about all of this POTO and LOTR and Ember stuff... I'm sorry, it just makes me feel left out... I think the party thread should only be for CB talking, and not other stuff...
Another forum can be made for that...

Aw, I'm sorry Emma.  But hey, we can still totally talk about CB & make those characters get more involved. We just happen to have "a few" extra characters hanging around. ^^; Again, I'm sorry about all the people you're not familiar with. We don't want anyone feeling left out. We'll do our darndest to make the new board as CB-related as possible, just like the old days. And hey, you feel free to bring in ANY character you want. |

I thought the reason we made the new board was so we could have a whatever party, since this forum already is about CB.......

Well, we don't have to worry about being centered on CB. We're still in the Ball and Socket Pub, right? And there are still characters from CB.
