What is a Party Thread? I've never heard of them and been on one before and I'm confused... *perplexed expression*

I don't think it's a thing you'll find at most forums (or really many others, for that matter) It started on the TBC (Tim Burton Collective) It's really kind of a long story, but basically for us the Party Thread is a place where we just hang out. It's kind of a roleplay, kind of not. You can hang out and talk to other forum members there, or you can talk to a character from virtuall anywhere you want, or you can just be completely spontaneous and random (or any combination of the three ) It's really just a place to unwind and be as random as you want or as crazy as you want or as sentimental as you want (mostly because it's Valentine's Day) Feel free to join, it's easy as 3.14 (lamest. joke. ever)

I'm glad Tara explained it well enough. (Which she did) It's open to everyone. (And Tara, It's probably sadder if you understand the joke and laughed at it... March 14th is also pie day. Bring pie in that day, to school, whatever. Eat it in your math class. When asked, say it's pie day)

That's actually what we did in eighth grade. Except we had Pie + 1 Day. April 14th, I think. And we brought in pie. But that was the day I got my braces off and got dismissed from school before math class, where we ate the pies. and it was also the day of silence, where you don't say anything if you're participating all day. It's to acknowledge people who are discriminated and such, who can't just say what they think for fear or being hurt or shot down. So I had to go to my math teacher before I got dismissed, with 2 notes. The first said "I'm participating in the Day of Silence" to let him know that I couldn't talk. Then I held up a finger and fumbled for the next note, which said "I'm being dismissed, so can I have some pie before I leave?" I got chocolate and blueberry. SO good
Anyway, that's my story. Sorry for rambling. We oughta bring pie to the party.....
Oh. So, yeah. See you all there!

March 14th is also pie day. Bring pie in that day, to school, whatever. Eat it in your math class. We're going to have that in Algebra. If we bring in a pie, we get bonus points...*dons chef's hat* Now...how do you make a pie? *scratches head, then wanders off to find a recipe*
