Your vows I did accept Your voice awoke me from my sleep When I first saw your face, I loved you But you are not mine to keep
I wanted this to be my perfect day Yet I didn’t realize my mistake How I adore you dearly But I am not yours to take
How naïve your love was at first Do you know what your beauty meant to me? You said you wanted to keep your promise You did just that, darling, you set me free.

Haha, it really is! My friend wants me to write a fanfic on it, just for fun. She wants Victor and Emily to end up together. I haven't started it yet...but I got some really good ideas while listening to the soundtrack. The soundtrack helps in the inspiration process!

It really does - that's how I got all these poems done. I'm trying to write a similar fan fic...but I fear it's copying other people's ideas...anyways, I can post some of it... it's called True Love Never Dies... (cheesy title, I know) but it's about Victor... it's kind of sad. But I think it sucks... anyways, do feel free to post your fanfic when you start writing it and stuff.

Aw! That sounds really sweet. I love writing...but I can never get my thoughts out, down on paper at least. Whenever I get a good idea in my head, I always see it visually...so it's hard to write it out. I wish there was a way to like, express my ideas in that way, as opposed to having to write it all down. And also, I always think that my writing sucks, so I end up deleting it or throwing it out. This story that I started today, though, I want to keep. And I'll try my hand at fanfic writing...I never have before...but I'll try.

Oh yes, most definitely try... it can't hurt.
I think what makes it difficult about the Corpse Bride is that you try to picture this happening... and since it's an animated feature, it seems odd when you're thinking of it animated..
But yea, I'm definitely more of an artist. I can see pictures that go along with whatever I'm writing...

I know what you mean- it's easier with live-action movies, definitely. It's hard to recreate the images of puppets in your head. It seems almost silly.. but the characters were so real.. it's not as hard as it normally would be.
And it's the same with me, it's a lot easier to draw to express myself than write. There's really no thinking involved with drawing...that's why I like it so much. ;D

Yea, that is very true! I mean... I doodle all the time... and I love love love drawing cartoons and things of that nature.. it's just not as easy to write about them...

Yeah, very true. I get so many ideas in my head, like ideas for stories, but I see them visually.. and I can never write what I see. It's annoying because they're pretty good ideas too! Drawing is a lot easier. I've actually begun drawing a lot more now. I used to all the time.. and then I stopped, but I've decided to start again. It's a really good outlet for feelings and stuff.

It really really is.. I've gotten over a lot of guys from just writing about them. I think I even wrote one about CGF.

Aw! That's a great idea...it must help a lot! I like writing because you're free to write about whatever you want...whatever you're feeling...there's absolutely no boundaries. I love that. You can go wherever you want...do whatever you want...be whoever you want to be. It's amazing.

It is.. it's total sense of freedom... like with poetry... you are free to pour out your soul, pretty much.
I think I even wrote a poem and gave it to the guy I liked... I don't even know what the poem was about... probably friendship... I don't even know.

Aww! That's sweet. But yeah- you can pour out your soul in poetry. I do like poetry, I made a few random poems, and some CB poems, and I keep them in a little book. I'm not the biggest fan of my work... but, still, it gets out emotions and anything bottled up inside. Poems are great for that purpose.
