I wish my name were cool like that EMBER: Mori, shut up, your name's fine MORI: ^_^ Wanna know the best part? He's quoting me. We were working on someone's play today, and she was having us all waltz in a circle. One girl was enthusiastic when I mentioned I learned how to tango in my Spanish class last year, and she was all "Aw, can we tango instead?" and I said "No" When she got confused and asked why, I said what Ember said just up there  MORI: *cluelessly* Huh? My hair isn't purple HAZEL: *looks it up* I think it's time I tell you, Mori. Tides and Ember dyed it while you were asleep MORI: o.O *runs to a mirror in a panic. sees her hair is normal-colored and sighs in relief* EMBER and TIDES: *start laughing* HAZEL: *grins* TIDES: Niiice HAZEL: *raises an eyebrow* I'm not tangoing with you, Tides, so don't even try TIDES: ?! HAZEL: *let's him have that expression on his face for a few seconds before laughing* I guess our author must've given me her love of getting reactions from people TIDES: ...-_- |

ME: *smiles sweetly* Nah, it's not. Trust me. It's an awesome name. EMBER: ....whatever. ....obviously she hasn't seen The Incredibles. *laughs as well* The visual of them actually doing that to Mori is awesome. Heh....awesomeness. ME: I'm gonna be leaving in a bit as well. MORI: So, school's almost over? ME: Mm-hmm. Problem is, I got a ton of school crap to deal with. My Creative Writing chapbook scrap copy is due tomorrow & it's not done, I got an idiotic Economics project due next Tuesday, the SAT is on Saturday which I haven't really prepared for, and I'm in danger of failing Economics & not graduating. MORI: ......yikes. ME: Thanx, Mori. I feel lots better. MORI: ^^; Happy to help... ME: Ah, it's no big. I'm not that worred. I mean, I am gonna take it seriously & stuff.... EMBER: Doubt it. ME: *ignores him*....but I'm not gonna let it stress me to death. MORI: Good for you. ME: Yup. *sits down on the couch* EMBER: Can I help you? ME: No. Not at the moment. But if a situation comes up where I'll require your assistance, I'll let you know. EMBER: You do that. *leans head back & closes eyes* ME: Sleepy? EMBER: I'm relaxing. ME: Just asking. *yawns, leans over, rests head on his shoulder & closes eyes* EMBER: *eyes shoot open & look over at me* ME: *has pretty much fallen asleep* (Yes, that quickly) EMBER: *rolls eyes & looks over at Mori* MORI: ;D ;D ;D EMBER: *shoots a glare at her* MORI: *whispers* Oh, let her sleep. EMBER: *whispers* She needs to go home. MORI: C'mon, Sharon used to sleep over here every night. Look at her. She looks so peaceful.... EMBER: And what am I supposed to do, stay like this all night? MORI:  Fine. But at least give her a few more minutes. EMBER: Why should I? MORI: *points to me* EMBER: *looks over at me* ME: *is smiling in her sleep* EMBER: ......*sighs* Fine. NORM: *notces me* .... aw, smoof. Don't tell me you're gonna start coming every morning to bother me, too?
ME: Nah, I just came to say hello. *heads over to him* Ugh, I'm so tired.
NORM: Well then, maybe you should get more sleep if you're that tired.
ME: Not my fault a stupid project had me up till 10 last night. Normally I'm not allowed to stay that late.
NORM: Would've been nice if you'd left earlier than 10...
ME: *shakes head and hugs him, closing eyes* Thanks for dancing with me last night.
NORM: *freezes, and is about to say something rude, but after noticing that there are few people around and no one is paying any attention to them, decides not to. hesitantly strokes my hair once, very lightly, and smiles a little*
ME: *is a bit startled and turns bright red, but doesn't move*
NORM: ...... *shakes head quickly* Yeah, yeah, you're welcome I guess.
ME: *steps away, just watching him*
NORM: ...... don't expect that too often, kid. I'm not the kind of person--
ME: I know, don't worry. So, I'll see ya later. *smiles and waves, then heads off*
NORM: .......... *goes back to whatever he was doing*

EMBER: I woke up this morning and, thank God, you were gone. ME: Umm...I ran outta here about half an hour before my bus came. EMBER: .......you mean to tell me you actually stayed there all night?
