CARRION: *looks slightly interested*
ME: *notices and grins* Of course, you'd love that, wouldn't you? Well, the main difference is the time. Then again, time is a man-made concept
CARRION: Not in the Abarat. It proves its own existence there
ME: What Hour is Gorgossium?
CARRION: *looks confused at the question* Midnight
ME: With numbers
CARRION: Twelve
ME: You sure?
CARRION: *looks angry at being questioned* Of course!
ME: Is it twelve on its own?
CARRION: Yes
ME: Or does it need someone to keep referring to it as "twelve" to exist the way it does?

ME: The individual Hour of each island doesn't change in the Abarat, that's true. But Hours are inventions, as are minutes and seconds and days and years and millenia. You could sit at Five or Six and watch the sun set forever, but Time doesn't stand still. That's not what it does. Moments always pass, regardless of the "hour." Even the Abarat can't change that
CARRION: *annoyed* What's your point?
ME: .......y'know, I'm really not sure. Why do I have to have a point? They dull quickly. Why don't you have a point? Do you? Go on, try and figure out what it is. I'm in a philosophical mood tonight *closes eyes again and leans head back*
CARRION: *shakes his head and looks around the pub*

Well, not all nice clothes are tight and show excess fat. I just like shirts that look nice and maybe wear a belt and cool-ish shoes occasionally. I just feel a lot better if I'm dressed nice.

Again, we're opposites. I'm most comfortable in an oversized t-shirt and I feel really awkward when I'm dressed nice, regardless of what nice is. That might change in a while, and it might not. Depends, I guess. Whatever

I can't dance, and I don't enjoy it. I'm not a physical person, which is weird, because I took a multiple intelligences test and got kinesthetic as my highest score. Go figure that one out. And I got, like, a three or four out of ten on verbal/linguistic. But my sister also got a really low score for interpersonal, so it's obvious the test is whack

I figure I have the right to say any of my characters are in my crowd. Then again, I don't like crowds. News, everyone: The aforementioned Tara-crowd doesn't exist, so you can all relax ^.^

ME: Once again, alone. And I am not in the mood to write up a conversation.

We see how long that lasted

Today was my last day of classes! Now it's just Synthesis, which is actually way shorter this semester (everyone's been saying that). All the students are assigned to advisors, and I'm with Ryan, who only has three advisees. One of them doesn't even come into school in the morning, so it's just me and Abbey in the mentor meetings. Today we rewrote all our deadlines and schedules because that one week we got off due to the flood really screwed everything up. Ryan was all "So, for today you should have your bibliography, introduction, paper outline, and first draft by tomorrow" and Abbey and I started laughing and went "Yeah, that's a good one Ryan"
So we spent the time making up a plan. Ryan's so cool, cause he's really laid back, so he's just like "Abbey's done six Syntheses already and this is her third classic thesis option, and Tara just did well last time, so I trust you guys, you know how it works"

And my Spanish teacher, Dan, made my day. One of the most obnoxious, clueless kids today asked in the middle of class how to say "I don't care" in spanish when Dan asked him a question. Dan paused, then said "Soy un mono"
So the kid started saying "Yo no se y soy un mono," thinking he was saying "I don't know and I don't care"
Later on, Dan informed him that he'd been saying "I don't know and I'm a monkey"
Dan rocks. He, Greg, Kaitlyn, Chris, and Josh are probably my favorite teachers. But all of them are awesome, really

All right, I have so much I could ramble on about today, but I'll spare you all the rest. I gotta go now. see you guys later on sometime ^.^
