Ooh, yea! Are ya?? Which reminds me, I should go hang w/ him. At the pace she's going, we'll all be dead & buried by the time she finishes.

*blushes a little more* Yes..... MORI: *starts laughing* ME: *keeps writing. glances at Carrion, looks at him for a second, then writes something else down. scribbles it out, studies his face again, and writes something else. slides teeth over each other before looking up again* Okay, you really need to give me your age CARRION: I don't think I do ME: Yeah, you really do CARRION: *shakes head* ME: .............I'll make you eighty years old if you don't tell me EMBER: *says "Yeah, right!" at the same time Shape walks by and mutters to me* You wouldn't be that far off, actually CARRION: *glares intensely* SHAPE: *slinks off* ME: *tries really hard not to laugh* But in all seriousness-- CARRION: No ME: ;P *looks over at Jem* How old would you say he is? CARRION: *rolls eyes* ME: What? I need an age, dammit!

Why do you need his age exactly Tara?

Not a lot. Sorry ^.^;;; It's from the point of view of the bad guys, basically. The main plot is a girl (Tara.......yeah, needed a name, and Tara is always my fallback name) has the same thing that happened to Candy happen to her. She's out walking in the woods by her house, sees the old remains of a lighthouse (odd, I know), accidentally activates it, calls the sea (also accidentally), and gets swept into the abarat (I'm debating whether or not her dog should get swept away with her, cause I could make that work really well). However, the tide is almost always in control and takes you where it wants you to go. Who's surprised to hear that she gets taken to Gorgossium? Some stuff happens, but she quickly becomes Carrion's apprentice, in a way. It's more complicated and deeper than an apprenticeship, though. It's mainly from Tara's POV and ocassionally Carrion's. But Mischief will be mentioned and make a few appearances, too ^.^
Yeah, of course. I'm warning you, though, it'll be long
Good. I'll finally have time to finish it, then EMBER: Or start it..... ME: *laughs* Most likely
Just for a reference. It's a lot easier when you know what everyone's age is

Now that's one subject Tara doesn't mind studying.
ME: Does "too old" count as an age? EMBER: This coming from the girl who's obsessed w/ a man who's almost 53. ME: .........
;D
;D ;D I'ma go find him now. *wanders off*

CARRION: *rolls eyes* ME: What? I need an age, dammit! his age? I don't know... does it say in the second book when the fire occured? Try reading those chapters again, maybe it'll give you some hint. I'll do that, too. Later, though. I'm hangin' with BJ. *hugs him*

Well, that sounds great. I can't can't wait till you're done. *goes and gets House's cell phone and notices it isn't charged and so changed the battery when he's not looking and comes back* Phone *tosses it to him and he turns around and catches it in midair with a nod.* Now I get my reward? House: Reward? What are you talking about? Me: *goes and hugs him quckly, he ignores her* Hey that's not a hug. House: You never made me promise to hug you back. Anyways, my toes were crossed, no can do. Me: *laughs* You are such a child.

I'm probably one of the very few people you could say that about. My mom freaked out when I showed her his picture. I still have to brace her secretary for it. I want her to scan it onto the computer for me.....
.......NOT in this fanfic, dudette
Shut. Down.
I know those chapters backwards. Trust me, if they mentioned it, I'd know it ^.^;;; EMBER: You need a life ME: You're lucky I devoted years of it to you and your story HAZEL: His story? ME: *shrugs* You know
*laughs*

*randomly goes over on the couch* *plops down and stretches out* Erik: May I join you? Me: Don't have to ask. Erik: *sits on the arm of the couch* Me: Crap on a stick... I should probably go soon. Erik: Don't go. Me: Are you quoting Edward Scissorhands?! Erik:.... Would you like me to sing? Me: Yeah, sing whatever you like... just make sure it's calming. I don't want to hear anything angry. Erik: Not to worry, I know plenty of soothing songs... about seduction and surrender... Me: Aww what alliteration.

Haha, good luck w/ that. Doesn't your school have a scanner? But of course. Bite. Me. Ha. Understandable. Well what did you want her to say? "The story of you and all my other characters down here"? Saying "your story" is much shorter & means the same thing. But that's just me rambling. *agrees*

Seduction and Surrender... doesn't sound as soothing as you might think. Soothing seduction and surrender... hmm. Hello again Gen. ^_^
And it's interesting to hear about Ember's story being worked on for so long. Heh. I would have given up by then.

Yeah, just like we have a cafeteria
EMBER: Let's. All. Stop. Talking. Like. This. Right. Now. ME: You're quoting-- EMBER: Don't say who I'm quoting. *quietly* It'll give away the story and freak two certain obliviously lovesick people out of their minds ME: .......good point
It was mainly bits and pieces of character bonding and development and some action sequences and a LOT of fluff. And I loved it to death, which was why it was so easy to work on

Ditto.
