MORI and EMBER: *do the Boy Meets World gape, except only Mori points* TIDES: *freezes* HAZEL: .......*is turning red* TIDES: *takes a step back and clears his throat* HAZEL: *looks down/to the side and purposely lets hair fall by her face* TIDES: Heh, kids these days HAZEL: *weak smile* Tell me about it *shrugs* I probably write more than you. Or write seriously more often. Bleh, whatever I'm trying to say. The point is: I work hard at writing. It's not necessarily getting me anywhere, but whatever. My dad keeps telling me to publish a book. He can't wait to see his daughter in her late teens with a book already published, making a name for herself TIDES: *laughs* At least your father cares enough ME: Ew. No one ever calls him my father. It's always 'dad,' cause that's just the kind of person he is He's too goofy to be a father TIDES: *shrugs* I never referred to my father as 'Dad.' It.....didn't exactly suit him HAZEL: *doesn't comment* Sweeeeeeet ME: *cheers* That was movie-worthy! MORI: *sits with me* We're lucky life isn't a race ME: How so? MORI: We'd be comin in dead last ^.^ ME: Heh, good point. But it's kinda nice that way, too. You don't see anyone ordering me around to be cute or pushing me into people MORI: Way to give em ideas ME: *shrugs* I'm a go with the flow type of person MORI: .......no you aren't. You the go against the flow, stand up for yourself, independent kind of person ME: Yeah, but I go with whatever my flow is MORI: *smiles and rolls eyes*

BJ: ......y'know it always kills me when ya say that. ME: .....*would normally make a comment about him already being dead, but decides not to*
*dies laughing 'cause that never gets old*
*sits w/ Mori & Ember, looking quite pleased w/ herself*
*nods* Yea, you're right.
My dad can be both. It's really confusing.

Tactfulness certainly gets you places
MORI: ^_^
That is confusing. I can't imagine even referring to him as my father. I always say "my dad"

ME: Which would explain why you're currently nowhere. MORI: Oooh.... ME: I'm joking. Lighten up! Well, I don't know if I'd ever refer to my dad as "my father". But it's not totally ridiculous to imagine that. He's pretty responsible & can be kinda strict. BJ: *grins* Glad ta hear it. BJ: ....*immidiately relaxes*

I think your apology's accepted *sits on table and swings feet back and forth* CARRION: *watches with a glare* ME: *glances over* May I help you? CARRION: *ignores the question* ME: So, did you like that poem better? I'm sure you must know where I got my inspiration CARRION: I prefer it to your sunset one ME: I do, too. Partly because the flow's nice and it rhymes. Though I like my sunset one, too CARRION: What do you usually write about? ME: *is almost taken aback by the question, but deicdes to see where it ends up going. shrugs* I dunno. Nature, I guess. I'd say fantasy, but that doesn't seem to fit in here anymore, considering the number of strange character we have down here. No offense CARRION: I've seen stranger ME: I don't doubt that. I think I'll write a hideous poem, using the most vile words I know (by vile, I don't mean curses ^.^;; CARRION: Go ahead ME: I'll call it......."Poem for the Sewing Witch" CARRION: *lip curls* How lovely ME: I hope not. I don't want to waste a lovely poem on her CARRION: So, that's it? Nature? ME: I guess. I mean, I like those poems the best, because my other ones depress me. They're about humans (I wrote one about how annoying people are. wait, no, I wrote two), sad stories I've come up with, and I've written a few in the dark category because there's really fun vocabulary you can use when you're writing a dark poem. Lots of rhyming words, I noticed CARRION: That's all? ME: .......and the ocassional love poem here or there. I deleted most of them, or tore them up, though. They...didn't come out too well *looks at allpoetry page and scowls* I missed one *goes to delete it. rereads it first* Geez, I was a melodramatic thirteen-year-old *hits delete* I'm leaving my Tango of Romance one up there, though, because that was in the humor section CARRION: I see ME: Yeah.....*starts reminiscing* CARRION: *waits* ME: .......*snaps out of it and blushes* Sorry. Daydreaming CARRION: I noticed ME: *goes back to writing* *looks around* Good Lord, you're right! Hm.......wonder if BJ's distracted enough to miss the fact that I insulted his place ^.^;;;

We had to do something like that. We had to list 10 beautiful words, 10 fun words, and 10 ugly words. Then we had to take each list & turn it into some form of poetry or prose.
......is there something wrong with being a melodramatic thirteen-year-old?
*looks over at BJ & Jem* Yea, I'd say so.

That sounds cool
For me, yeah. Especially when it comes to writing love poems *massages temples with one hand as though getting rid of a headache or fatigue* That poem didn't even make sense. It was so overdone, it just.......ugh.
.......I wonder if he'd notice if I stole his hat MORI: Tara....... ME: What about his eye? MORI: *smiles and rolls her eyes*
You posted right before me again, you eagle osprey cross between a bag of brown paper (did I get that right?)
Who said I didn't care?
