No prob ^.^ I know from experience hitting your head doesn't feel good
It's actually pretty sunny now. But my school did have the week off because of the rain. That's what we get for having a suckish school building as old as time itself. The best part is we don't make up days we get off during the year, like snow days or the rare "cold days." It doesn't matter whether it's sunny or rainy, though, cause I've been in the basement pretty much all day

Yeah, I almost never leave my house (at least I leave my basement.. sometimes...). Except for today. Which was really stupid of me. Being horribly ill+having allergies+85 degree weather= very, very not fun.
I want to not have to make up days off at the end of the year. Grr.

*slowly walks in, heads straight for the nearest empty couch & lays down* Anyone gives me a hard time tonight, I'm ripping their arm off & beating them with it. *closes eyes*
......I mean, "hi".

I doubt he's that stupid, or that immature.
Honest to God, there's nothing wrong at all. I'm just in a bit of a mood, that's all.
*salutes*

EMBER: Thank you. .........no, wait MORI: *laughs*
Alright, sweet. Moods are nice CARRION: ....... ME: *turns around and raises eyebrows slightly* What? CARRION: *shakes head* ME: *shrugs and goes back to whatever*
JADE: *runs in whining and stops in front of me* ME: Whoa, hey there, sweetie. Sup, dawg? JADE: *pushes nose against my leg* ME: Okay, okay, calm down *pets her head* JADE: *keeps whimpering and goes over to the couch. curls up next to it and puts a paw over her muzzle* ME: Aw. *kneels next to her and strokes her head* It's the fire alarm. It went off a while ago and she won't leave my side now. She won't stop shaking, either. JADE: *looks up and nudges Ember's hand with her nose* EMBER: *pulls his hand away* Calm down JADE: *whines* EMBER: Hey, easy *pets her head a little* MORI: Aw, she likes you ^_^ EMBER: That's just typical, isn't it? MORI: A-yup

*smirks a bit*
You know.....I actually agree with that. I do enjoy feeling all that anger for some reason. Feels good to let it out & just talk angry when no one else is in the room.
*anger diminishes a bit* Aww....poor puppy. (y'know, it's a scientifically proven fact that dogs can elevate your mood)
Not the best person to go to if you're looking for comfort.
*smiles a little*......I stand corrected. *goes over & pets Jade as well*

Same here. But sometimes an audience is nice EMBER: Nice for who? ME: For whoever's angry Totally. Most animals can for me, actually. Well, not always my own pets. They're often more like siblings. My cat annoys me so much when I find her in my room, sleeping there without permission. But I let her stay, most of the time MORI: Oh, you'd be surprised. He's way better with animals than people. Just opens right up to them EMBER: *rolls eyes* Thank you, Mori MORI: You know it's true. When you're with animals, you're like.....I dunno, a teddy bear! HAZEL: *bursts out laughing* Yeah, sure TIDES: *snickers* That'll be the day EMBER: And of course, if Hazel and Tides deny it, it must not be true JADE: *wags her tail* ME: *jumps over it as it comes near me* Watch it, puppy. You're gonna knock the pub over if you keep this up JADE: *pants happily* ME: *scratches her head some more, then goes over to Carrion's Corner* Now you can't tell me she'd be annoying in the fic CARRION: I never said that ME: Really? CARRION: As long as the other one isn't in it..... ME: Yeah, he stays home most of the time CARRION: "Most of the time?" ME: Yup. But he doesn't come in for a while. *smiles* Actually, I'm sort of getting this vibe while I'm writing that you and Jade might have this friendship bond thing goin. It's pretty cool, actually. It's subtle, but it grows a bit. CARRION: *lip curls* ME: *grins*

Not for me. I hate being around people when I'm angry. They just make me more mad. When I'm angry, the smallest little thing will piss me off to the max & send me on a swearing spree. Angry Lizzie + people = big uh-oh *nods* I suspected I would. That dude's got too much hidden. ME: *giggles* That's adorable. EMBER: *groans* ME: ^_^ *isn't in such a bad mood anymore* Oh, most definitely. ^_^ Good girl. *scratches behind her ear* Man, he's just bonding w/ characters left & right, ain't he? *laughs* The Lord of Midnight & his trusty puppy, Jade.

People tend to bother me in general. It doesn't make much of a difference when I'm angry EMBER: Can I quote you on that? ME: I'm the one quoting you ME: *smiles* Aw, he's like my son! EMBER: That was so creepy and uncalled for on too many levels to count ME: Yeah, but you're my character. I can get away with it MORI: *smiles* EMBER: What are you smiling about? MORI: Nothing. You know me, I'm always smiling at one thing or another JADE: *is now basking in the attention and pushing her head against everyone, urging them to pet her* ME: She may seem like she needs attention sometimes, but it's not as annoying as when Jak does, because Jade's old and hardly ever complains about anything, or begs, or anything like that CARRION: *puts a hand over his eyes and presses against the corners* ME: Like I said, it's subtle. Won't even come into play until, like, the end of the second book NEWS everyone! Maybe I'm slow and I should've known this long ago, but there are going tobe five books in the Abarat series, not four. Sweet. That means more work for me to do. And a lot more opportunities for Barker to change the plot around and force me to go independent with my fic XP And I started advertising on allpoetry for my forum. Hopefully some people join. I can get Sarah and Rae to, without a doubt, cause they're already on allpoetry. Who else, who else.......?

That's a kewl line. Kinda fits me. I'm not much of a people-person. I mean, I tend to be a bit more tolerant when I'm not pissed. But when I am pissed....oy. Don't get me started.
Ah.
*looks totally weirded out*
*nods*
*shrugs* I suppose she's got a point.
*laughs a little* She's lucky I love dogs so much. I love animals in general. *hugs Jade*
;D I always feel a sense of accomplishment whenever I get a reaction like that outta people.
Yayfun. ^.^

I'll keep that in mind. But I tend to be kinda good with people when they're angry. I dunno why, but when I'm with someone who's angry, I tend to just become a lot more laid back. Usually. Depends on who's angry and why. But generally, I just act calm and carefree, and a lot of the time it seems to help. It's weird, but if it works
I do *whistles for Jade* JADE: *stays with Ember and Liz* ME: Jade, come JADE: *whines and puts head down on Ember's leg* EMBER: *puts a hand under her head and tries to move her* Okay, enough of that JADE: *doesn't move* EMBER: .....seriously JADE: *looks up at him without moving her head and whines really quietly* EMBER: .......*leans back and groans* I can't escape it, can I? MORI: *shakes head*
JADE: *wags tail more*
Oh geez, same here. That's one of my favorite reactions ever
Yup. Granted, it means that's more opportunities for Disney to totally screw up the story and characters and everything, but whatever. Look at me, I'm a wreck! I'm worried about the movies already, and they've hardly released any information on them at all. My guess is Disney's gonna either give the movie a slightly higher rating than it needs, to be on the safe side, or they'll tone everything way down, such as: ~ Carrion's character design in general. I can't see how they'd make him look the same and expect kids to not be cared of him ~ The part where Candy activates the magic inside of her and is able to see the inside of her hand, which I think would make for a beautiful scene, but wouldn't be suitable for children ~ I don't know how they'll plan the Diamanda/Sanguinius part ~ They'll most likely cut out the fact that Two-Toed Tom is gay to avoid controversy. Which I think would suck. ~ The climax on the Wormwood before Carrion goes overboard. That'll definitely have to change to suit the crowds
None of that, in my opinion, should be messed around with. But, alas, it will, because our society can be so unaccepting EMBER: For the love of Jaer, pull yourself together ME: Aw, shut it. If the movie come sout and it sucks, I'll have to come in and say "I told you so." Though I doubt it'll be too horrible

Yea, I usually tend to act happier & more fun & funnier. Usually seems to help as well.
*smiles really sweetly at how adorable that was*
I totally get everything you're saying. And they most likely will either tone all that down or cut it out. That upsets me. Are we absolutely sure that Disney's gonna do the movies?
*agrees*
I don't think it's that. I think our society is usually more than accepting. I just think it's because it's Disney.
ME: Okay, Jade...I luv ya, but we've been petting you long enough. *stops petting her* JADE: *whines & pushes my hand w/ her nose* ME: No, no. Why don'tcha go over to the BB's? *leads her over there* BB#3: *spots Jade* 'Sup, dawg? *kneels down & starts petting her* JADE: *wags tail* ME: ^.^ *sits next to Ember* EMBER: Why are you still here? ME: 'Cause I feel like it. EMBER: Well, this works out perfectly. I feel like leaving. *stands up* ME: Don't think so. *grabs his wrist & pulls him back down* EMBER: *groans & leans his head back* ME: Lighten up. Could be a lot worse. EMBER: Could be a lot better too. ME: Well, if ya keep thinking like that, you'll always be miserable. EMBER: Well if I do, that's my decision. ME: *shrugs* Just givin' out some advice. EMBER: If I want your advice, I'll ask for it. ME: *nods* Right. *leans head back & closes eyes* EMBER: .......*tries to sneak off while my eyes are closed* ME: *opens eye* EMBER: *stops & expects me to pull him back down* ME: *closes eye again* EMBER: *looks surprised, stands there for a sec, then slowly walks over to the piano*

EMBER: *rolls eyes and tries not to smile* They have the rights to films and theme park rides for $8 million. It almost frightens me I don't think our society is very accepting. Not as much as they should be. I mean, as a whole. A person can be extremely accepting, but people aren't ME: *watches and smiles a little* ME: *sighs wistfully* If only everything in life were that easy. However....... .....there's always something to bring you right back where you should be Ooh, that's actually a good point JADE: *walks over and sits next to the Corner* ME: .......and when I want your advice, I'll give it to you! JADE: .......*tilts her head, yawns, then lies down and crosses her paws, resting her head on them* ME: Hmph. Slacker *sits on table and starts working on one of the many projects I can be working on right now* .............!! Sorry! I'd reply to that, but right now I can't seem to get over how much my basement smells like agoat MORI: .......a goat? ME: Yeah. A goat. I don't even know how. I don't even know what a goat would smell like, really, but if you stepped into my basement and didn't know it smelled weird, you'd honestly think "Whoa, do they keep a goat down here?" It's weird

Dang. We needs to start writing some complaint letters.
Or to where that something wants you to be.
*shrugs* I just don't know why anyone would choose to be miserable.
*raises an eyebrow*
*smacks own forehead* Tara, you are distracted WAY too easily.
*laughs a little* That struck me as really funny.
