CARRION: *picks him up and accidentally brushes my hand with his in the process* ME: *pulls hand back too fast and almost drops Astrum* ASTRUM: *coils around Carrion's wrist quickly and tilts head at me* ME: .......sorry CARRION: *puts him back* ASTRUM: *swims around the glass* CARRION: *glances at me and looks amused* What was that for? ME: I'm not big on contact. At all, really. Especially if I'm gonna see demons and devils and nightmares and fire CARRION: *laughs* I was under the impression that you enjoyed seeing those things ME: *shrugs* Not if it isn't called for. I'm also not that big on being surprised *small smile* Luckily, I rarely am CARRION: *rolls eyes* ME: It's true. I take things in stride. Like today, this kid was playing with a huge elastic, and one teacher walked by and told him to stop. So the kid stopped, until the teacher went around the corner. Then he pulled the rubber band back and shot it, and it hit the wall right next to me. I just flinched a little bit, but that's it CARRION: It could easily have hit you in the face ME: But it didn't. If it hit me in the face, I would've shouted and checked to make sure it didn't do anything to my eye. Since it didn't, I was fine. Calm as a cloud CARRION: *leans back against the piano and puts gloves on* ME: *sits on table and pulls out notebook* Homework or fanfic? CARRION: Homework ME: Fanfic! ^.^ *starts writing* |
