Hah, I just watched some of Harry Potter the other night.
Wow... 15 pages?! Holy cheesecake and hot air balloons!
I'm sorry I couldn't hang out with you guys, but I had to go to my aunt and uncle's house. They let me stay over two days (Thursday and Friday, I came back early this morning... so that's technically three, I guess). Anyways, I had a good birthday (sadly no appearances by Matthew Broderick).
I remember when Squish talked about Matthew Broderick and the whole lap thing... and that got me thinking - if Matthew even tried to sit on my lap, he'd crush me. I only weigh about 95 lbs and I remember reading somewhere that he's around 182... so that's almost half my size. Yeah. I clearly have too much time on my hands to be thinking about such things.
Erik: *jumps on my back and topples me over* I missed you! I wanted to serenade you and everything for your birthday!
Me: *brushes self off* No worries man.
Erik: But...
Me: Hey, no worries!

ME: Good, actually. I finished it in school w/ no problem. My friend read it & she said she didn't wanna put it down. I have yet to hear a review from my teacher though. Not something to look forward to.
EMBER: Why is that?
ME: I dunno. I'm sure she won't like it.
EMBER: Oh, now Little-Miss Conceited doesn't think her work is good enough for high-school creative writing?
ME: It's not that I don't think I'm good enough. It's just that my teacher sucks at grading our stuff. But I know I'm a damn good writer and I don't care if a 2nd rate teacher tries to tell me otherwise.
EMBER: *nods* That's a good way of thinking.
ME: *shrugs* I'm surprised everyone doesn't think that. I mean, some of the most successful & famous people in the world either flunked high school, dropped out, or didn't go at all.
EMBER: True. Although it couldn't hurt to actually....you know, maybe...TRY.
ME: Meh. Not my thing.
EMBER: *rolls eyes*
ME: Your face is gonna freeze like that one of these days. Oh man, how funny would that be?
EMBER: (dryly) Hysterical.
