I should probably be reading, too, but I don't feel like it. Even if the book I'm reading for my report is Abarat and does rock. Heh, sorry, but I want to read 17 more pages of this story. And that's quite a bit, because the writing is really tiny. Sorry ^^; You could get some of Abarat done, though. Yes, Abarat is an awesome book.

I've been reading basically all day-- my teachers have this thing against giving us a lot of work. Something about we get too much work in other classes, but... we don't. So I finish the work I do get and read.
And I have to go. Bye!

Turns out our Friday schedule was uncharacteristically busy today, and I didn't get hypnotised. Oh well We did meditate, though. and I fell asleep. It was when you're in that mode and you're completely convinced that you're just thinking and you're in control of your thoughts, but really you're zoning out big time and you can't even realize it. The thing is, I could hear the voice of the guy who was guiding us all afternoon through different forms of meditation and all that fun stuff, and for one of the times we all got on our backs on the floor, which ended up being surprisingly comfortable. We did this exercise where we breathed in and visualized the air going into our foot or leg or abdomen or whatever and filling the space, so I ended up being consciously aware of the three-dimensional space that my own body took up. It's a crazy-good feeling, except when I got to my head. Then I got freaked out, because I could almost feel the shape of my own skull. Anyway, I could hear his voice, but I was definitely not taking in what he was saying. I had my eyes closed, because everyone did, and when I opened them a few minutes later( so I thought) I saw everyone else in the circle with their arms up in the air and doing some sort of stretch. I obviously zoned out so much that I missed something kinda important. Whatever. Now if I have trouble sleeping, I know what to do
*shuffles in and grabs a few random people as they pass by to dance with them for a few seconds. finally stops at Carrion's corner* CARRION: What has you so excited? ME: Got an A- on my Coro paper. Would've gotten a B+, but I got my notes in, so it went up half a grade. Heh, Liz should love this. I got it back and there were a trillion notes on it, cause that's how my Coro teacher is, and he had circled a phrase. I meant to type "what they....." but I was rushing by that point in the paper, so it ended up being "wha hey" He circled it, drew an arrow and wrote "......." as a comment. I also used the word "synchronism" (I don't know why) and he said something like "technically correct, but weird. where'd you get this from? I might use it more often" Weirdness. But whatever, I did well, and that's one less thing to worry about CARRION: Fabulous ME: Heh, yeah right *sits on table and starts sorting through sheet music*

*lifts hand in the air* Enthusiasm level *lets it drop* way low EMBER: *lifts hand* Tara's dorkiness level *lets it drop and bends down so it hits the floor* Wayyy lower ME: ;P Hilarious. For your information, I'm in an amazing mood because I feel enlightened, I'm relaxed and energetic at the same time, I'm hardly ever energetic, so this is a big deal for me, and, get this everyone: IT'S WARM OUTSIDE!!! *dances again*
TOTALLY should've come to my school and done meditating stuff with us. We did this walking meditation where you basically walk freely, as long as you're aware of your breathing and how it feels to walk in your body, at the moment. No analyzing, no thnking ahead, no trying to get to a certain destination. Just.......walk and feel how it feels. The only thing is, I couldn't pay attention to that because wherever I walked my teacher always got right in front of me. We had to pick an imaginary line on the floor and walk back and forth on it, and he had this cycle where he always got in front of me and cut me off somehow. Jerk. He's one of my favorite teachers ever, though
