CARRION: *shrugs*
ME: *smiles* Thanks *lifts Astrum off shoulder and hands him over to Carrion*
CARRION: *shakes his head* It's been moving around too much. Keep it with you for a while until it settles down
ME: Really? .......okay *puts Astrum back on shoulder and sits on the table*
CARRION: .......are you going to write?
ME: No. Why?
CARRION: That's what you always do here
EMBER: Wow, even I wouldn't have known that
CARRION: *glares*
ME: *blushes and swings legs back and forth a little*

(le sigh) Great. Now I've got to leave in a few minutes. My stupid sister had to go upstairs early & now my parents want me to go up. XP

I need sleep. Nope, I need a vacation. A nice full week-long vacation

I was serious about that vacation thing. My only vacation day was today. The rest was hell if you just wanted to spend your free week relaxing. I won't have another time to really relax and not worry about things until summer
That's a good idea, cause I definitely missed it. I'm a mess

BB#4: We all want to thank you, actually, Liz. You've gotten him to think more than he ever has. It's a real breakthrough for him

Aw, it's alright. Everyone has their off nights. Some of us more than others...
*laughs a little* You gotta turn everything into a competition, don't ya? *kisses his cheekbone* But it was sweet, so I'll let it slide.

Yeah. I'm having an off month
BB#2: *would pretty obviously turn red right about now*
ME: *watches from piano* .......
EMBER: *looks confused and glances at me*
ME: *shrugs, feigns ignorance, and starts playing something pretty but bittersweet*
ASTRUM: *slithers up to my neck*
ME: *looks down and smiles. continues playing melody with one hand and moves Astrum to the side with the other*
ASTRUM: *coils up on shoulder again*
ME: *strokes his head, smiles a little, and goes back to playing*
CARRION: *watches with a subtle interest*
ME: *finishes song with a few broken chords and sighs silently*
CARRION: .......*walks over and stands next to the piano* I need him back
ME: *looks up in surprise and lifts Astrum off shoulder* Here. And thanks for the extra time with him
CARRION: I told you he was moving around too much
ME: Well, thanks anyway *gets up and stretches* I need to go soon
CARRION: Not soon enough
ME: That's true. I need sleep. Or just rest. I'm not going to be able to finish this paper, but if I get half of it done or at least just start it, maybe I can write the rest more easily
CARRION: Maybe *puts Astrum back in collar*
ME: .......I have a question
CARRION: Don't you always?
ME: *slight blush* I guess. Do you think Boa's like Candy?
CARRION: *looks surprised* What?
ME: Do you think they're alike? Because I don't think they really are, and if that's true, then how much of the character in the story was Candy and how much was Boa?
CARRION: Why are you asking me? *regrets the question as soon as he asks it*
ME: Because.......you researched them both. Duh.
CARRION: *rolls eyes*
ME: Alright, I can answer it myself, don't worry. Sorry to put you on the spot like that
CARRION: *doesn't reply*
ME: .......well, good night
CARRION: I've had better
ME: Yeah, I know *packs up stuff and slings backpack over shoulder* I'll see you later, though. And about the fanfiction.....I think I'm taking some time off from it
CARRION: Really? Why?
ME: I don't know. I started writing a few parts, and they had nice beginnings, but I wasn't too happy with the way they progressed. I can't even place why
CARRION: Oh. Like what?
ME: .......like.....well, they're scenes from the ending, so I can't really share them
CARRION: Can't? Or won't?
ME: Definitely won't
CARRION: *soft chuckle*
ME: *starts reminding herself strictly that melting is very unhealthy* Okay, I'm going now. G'night
CARRION: Good night
ME: *looks for Astrum* G'night, Astrum
ASTRUM: *swims against the glass*
ME: *smiles* I'll see you tomorrow, too. Bye *walks out*

ME: I'm so sorry! I promised I'd hang w/ you yesterday & I didn't! *hugs him* I'm so super-sorry!

ME: Yes it is. I've been ignoring you for God knows how long and the one day I promise to spend time with you, I blow you off.

ME: *looks up at him* Really?

ME: *smiles & rests her head against his ribcage* You're awesome, Beej.
