EMBER: *comes back out to grab his scarf, then sees me at the piano. Leans against a nearby wall & listens*

If this were a situation that happened to me in real life, I'd rush home and write it into a short story as soon as I could

ME: *stands up & turns around & sees him standing there*
EMBER: *eyes widen. Quickly stands up straight*......forgot my scarf.
ME: Oh....right.
BOTH: *reach for the scarf at the same time, then pull our hands away*
ME: ....*hesitantly picks up the scarf & hands it to him*
