I'm not trying to diss anyone who's German, but we sang a German song today in Coro, and we had to exaggerate the way we pronounced everything because we weren't pronouncing it well enough

MORI: Huh? Oh, back to the League? I dunno, I like it down here
EMBER: Don't you miss anybody?
MORI: Of course. Pretty much everyone, except Kara, because nobody would miss her, and Tanabi, because I hardly notice when he's there and when he isn't, and Luke, because ever since he joined, I've been spending considerably less time with Rae
EMBER: *smirks* You should be thanking the poor guy for that
MORI: *small smile* I guess
EMBER: So you miss everyone, but you don't want to go back?
MORI: Well, I know that if I leave, I'll miss people here, too. Besides, if I were the only League member down here, I'd miss you more than anyone, so since you're down here, too, I'd rather stay here than go back, y'know?
EMBER: .......
MORI: ...what?
EMBER: *smiles* Nothing
MORI: Aw, you're being cute
EMBER: No, I'm definitely not
MORI: You act like you don't even know how to be cute

EMBER: *shrugs* I kinda miss the newt, because aside from Tanabi, he speaks the least
MORI: He doesn't speak at all
EMBER: Exactly. But Tanabi, he kind of makes whatever he says a negative. I don't know how, but somehow he speaks a negative amount of words

EMBER: Not Rae. Maybe Luke. No, I don't miss the kid. Not Thereis
MORI: Yeah right
EMBER: Not Tides, really, though I do miss making fun of him
MORI: *rolls visible eye* How sweet
EMBER: I guess Hazel. Just because.....I dunno. She bugs me less than anyone else
MORI: You can't help but have a soft spot for her
EMBER: *shrugs* Call it whatever you want. Anyway.....that's about it
MORI: Cool. So.....if that's it, then why do you want to go back?

EMBER: Anyway, I've been around them for so long now that whenever I see one of them enter the room, it's like it's my initial reaction to get ready to roll my eyes or say something sarcastic.. It's been like that for as long as I can remember them. But it seems like.....now that they aren't around anymore, I'm starting to realize that maybe they weren't being annoying all the time, but it was just a reaction I had, and I didn't realize how automatic it was until they weren't there to use it on anymore
MORI: Makes sense, but.......
EMBER: Yeah?
MORI: *smiles* Are we still talking about the League?
EMBER: *glares* What?
MORI: Nothing, really, I just wanted to make sure we were talking about someone in the League and not someone else
EMBER: Of course we're talking about the League. We've been talking about the League

EMBER: Good, I do
MORI: Alright. Sorry, then, I just wanted to make sure
EMBER: *rolls eyes and goes back to playing piano. starts playing Liberi Fatali*
MORI: *smiles to herself and walks off*

More randomness (as if this couldn't get any longer!)
My dog went in for surgery today to get a cyst removed, and she came home with a portion of her neck looking like Frankenweenie. Honestly, it's shaved with these stitches and staples, and the first thing outta my mouth besides "Aww, poor Jade!" was "She looks like Frankenweenie now!"
But she's really out of it and drowzy and hardly knows which way's which, so yeah. I gotta take care of her for the next few days
She's so sweet. I need to put a picture of her online somewhere
