Misto: *scoffs* oh, they like me alright. So long as I don't do REAL magic and stick to those stupid illusions and slight-of-hand and pulling things out of a hat, they like me just fine. But should I levitate, or turn something into something else, they shy away and avoid me for a bit. *sighs* Even Coricopat and Tantomile treat me oddly. It HURTS being so different sometimes. I just wanna be like every other cat in the junkyard, maybe more like my totally normal uncle, Bustopher. at least HE can't shoot lightning....
Tugger:...Promise me that you won't ever talk so depressingly again? It hurts ME to hear my best friend speak so lowly of himself *nuzzles Misto*

 I'm so super-sorry. *puts her hand on his shoulder* I sort of know how you feel. The kids in my old school always treated me oddly. Hurt me a lot. But then I realized...it really doesn't matter what they think. 'Cause I had other friends who love me no matter what. And that's just what you've got. Everyone down here loves you no matter what. I happen to think all your magic is amazing & very impressive. Yea, what he said. |
