My freind is freaking out because I mentioned that I don't beleive in God. And it's getting very annoying. It doesn't seem like such a big deal to me...

Aww *hugs* I don't know why she'd be freaking out. I don't think it's a big deal. And I don't know why it would be a big deal...

It's not a big deal. Some people believe, some people don't, and if your friend has a problem with that she shouldn't be your friend. I should know, my school and neighborhood are all obsessed with that stuff, and whenever somebody gives me crap about how I don't believe, I'm just like, "Screw you, I have every right to believe what I want: nothing." *giggle* I'm mean

You've come to the right place. I don't think anyone here preaches to someone else just cause they're different or believe different things
I wish I could stay, but my friend's over and I'm gonna go for now. I'll be on later! Bye!
If anyone's still feelin blue.....well, cheer up! It's vacation! feel better for me! *hugs all around*

I like how you phrased that a bit BJR. Not that she should be your friend, but she should at least not peach to you about something so silly as that.
peach... Erm. Preach I meant.
Aww, see you later than Tara. And yah, she's also right. Heh ^^; I agree with like everyone here so far.

*pops in for a moment*
I DO believe in God, but I'm not gonna freak out & preach. Sure, I'd love everyone to believe in what I believe, but I respect your own beliefs. It's silly to break up a friendship over differences. I just don't like it when everyone assumes that all Christains think everything is evil and are always preaching and b*tchy & uptight. It's SO not like that. Anyhoo....yea. NOW I gotta go.
^^; I don't really think the idea of whether or not you believe in God is "silly".

-_-I really don't like it when people try to shove their religion down other peoples throats. Heh,My freind just signed off. I guess she's pissed. Hiya,Liz. I don't think that. My family are all christians. See ya,Tara. *waves*

You would not like to live where I do. Everyone's like that. They're always telling me I shouldn't read all the fantasy I read or obsess over Tim Burton... (*crowd gasps*) yeah, I know. They say it's evil and witchcraft-- they said Corpse Bride wasn't an accurate portrayal of the afterlife. How would they know?!? I'm not giving up my favorite things just because my dad moved my family into, like, some monastary or something!

Oh my,The people where you live are taking it a bit to far. O-o That's like when I read Harry Potter all the time. I would have the ocasional person talk about how reading about witchcraft was evil and stuff. It was kinda funny.

No no. I mean... Gah. Sorry. It isn't so significant in you know... Ok, it's silly to me. I don't go and talk to people wondering if they believe or love a god. And if they do or don't, it is of no importance to me. What's more important is how they are as a person, not whether they worship God. And so for me, when learning and interacting with people, religion isn't important, and getting into a big fuss about whether you believe in it or not, just out of the blue, is just plain silly. To me. (that is out of a debate context where you both start and participate ^^ So sorry if you took it wrong Liz. I didn't mean it exactly like that. And on the harry potter thing, I had people go and tell me that reading it was bad too. My aunt and uncle to be specific. (they are uber new age christians it seems. like, crazy at times. I'm not joking...) I had my cousin say I was going to hell because I was researching wicca when I was in middle school because... well, I felt it might be for me. (In the end it didn't fit me either, and I can't really find a reason to really believe in one... Or at least not what others call God at least)

I would have the ocasional person talk about how reading about witchcraft was evil and stuff. It was kinda funny. That happens to me ALL the time (I LOVE Harry Potter). It's so annoying. When they finally shut up, I'll be standing there wishing I could Avada Kedavra them. Instant death to those friggin monks.
