I'm like that with the HP movies also. XP and I read The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe a while ago. Like... 4th grade? ^^;;; I wanna read the prequel, and the rest of the series.
Well, that happens a lot when movies based on books are made, right? I like it the way it is, and that's just me, b/c I'm not that picky when it comes to movies. ^^;;;
Everyone has their own opinion ^^;;

Exactly, everyone has their own opinion. And I'm normally not that picky, or at least I wasn't all that picky before I got into burton's movies. I mean, I'm still not that picky, but now I'm kindof... music picky. If only cause of Danny. Movies made from books I read I'm always harder on, if only because they already have the concept and the s toryline, all they need to do is visualize it, and do it so it's like as good or maybe for some, better than reading the book, and the same ideas would be expressed.

Yes. Just out of curiosity, what did they do in the movie that wasn't in the book? I haven't read The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardobe for three years ^^;

Well, the beginning wasn't there. There was nothing about the dad or Peter acting like the dad at all. Or Edmund trying to save the picture. That began to spin his reasons for betraying them, which wasn't there and it's putting a different message in the story. Mr. Tumnus was turned into stone before Edmund got there, or at least we can assume so as you see him again at the end of the book. That whole bit with the "betrayal for turkish delight" never existed. Santa also gave gifts to the beavers (a new dam and sewing machine), Lucy didn't want to help the others, she was worrying that Edmund died and Aslan had to tell her "must more die for edmund?" before she left. The beavers said Aslan wasn't a tame lion. Maugrim and Peter faught. It wasn't just "rar I jump on your sword after insulting you". The white witch hid as a tree and a stump or something (that would have been nice to see). You saw the lion (which edmund doodled on) try to pretend to be as big as Aslan and be kindof ridiculed. The giant helping them out of the castle (ragamuffin I think his name was), little sayings, bits and peices which weren't there. Jadis had black hair I'm sure. Jadis... was she known as that? I'm not sure anymore *goes to check*

Jadis is the White Witch. I think. Yeah, I'm pretty sure, b/c I didn't know it before, and I found out yesterday ^^;; Wow, maybe I should read it again. I don't remember stuff like that XP

Well, they called her Jadis in the movie. Aslan did. But they don't call her that in the bookk (although it is the same person) I'm sure she had black hair though... *goes and looks* Maybe it's in the Magician's Nephew... She's also in the Silver throne, but that one I haven't read in years.

Gah, now I have to read the other books or I will have no idea what's going on. Yeah, all I remember is that she was not called Jadis in the book.

You don't have to read the other books. It just helps to have read the first one a bit when talking about the white witch. ^^:

*laughs* Aka, everything left with it? Ah, I'm going to wait on the vid project. I'm watching danny at the moment, trying to see his features so I can draw them. I need to need to learn how to draw him. He has odd facial features though kindof, so it confuses me. But last night I was having fun trying. www.deviantart.com/view/28915170/www.deviantart.com/deviation/28915281/Gah, one second. My friend is coming over to pick up a camera and I haven't even showered yet. I'll be back in a bit *runs out*
