Thank God you don't have that holiday in the Abarat. It's utterly pointless. In my own opinion. Which we all know is law (heh, totally kidding) CARRION: Well, I should be glad, then, too. What else do you not like?

NO no no, it's your personal theories on things, people, places, and events that took place/take place inside the world of NMBC. Like, some people think that Jack is a bone demon istead of an full skeleton (which I disagree with). It's quite fascinating!

Me: Whoa! Are you actually encouraging conversation with me? Whatever, I'll roll with it. Um.....I dislike the color orange. But that was random. I dislike morons (vague, yes, but true. no, none of you are morons, don't worry), I dislike really sunny days (I prefer rainy or overcast).......uh.....this is hard. I really dislike stories where two characters fall in love, but it just doesn't make sense. Like, you can't envision how those two people could possibly end up together, but somehow it happens, and it's just annoying

Me: *practically falls over laughing* What the heck? LOL Well done, Liz. That really made me laugh, just picturing that. If I'm the only one who found that funny, then I feel kinda stupid, but whatever

A bone demon? Heh, I am so bad at doing this, because when I was NBC I was like "it was good but..." I mean. I love it to death now, but it's still weird. Sally just irks me a tiny bit, her and Jack's relationship irks me a little bit. Because if they were such good friends, how come it wasn't shown so much. Why can she get premonitions like that? If she really wanted him to stop she could have screwed up the suit or something, not use fog juice or whatever. And little things like that. Oh yes, and no one ever says -why- Boogie is so mad at Jack, it doesn't make sense. Why is he also always hiding down there?

Good points, Sharon. I really agree with the Jack/Sally friendship. Watching the movie, I always cringe at the line "What will become of my dear friend?" Because you just get the idea that Jack's Mr Popularity, and Sally's the shy girl who watches from afar

Well, I've got my own theory for why Oogie and Jack hate each other, and as usual, it is totally weird and twisted.

Yay I'm not the only one who thinks that!
And Squish, Go out and say it. ^-^ I'm curious on why you think they fight so much. It seems it's cause they were competing and Oogie Boogie doesn't play fair and cheats, so no one wants him around. That's also why Jack didn't want him to participate, knowing he would do something stupid and try to ruin his christmas

Me: Don't worry, I'm not in the mood to try and upset anybody today. I'm too sick and tired. And starving.
So, sweet. We agree on a lot of stuff. Who knew?

XD ok ok, it's kinda weird, but oh well.
Hokay, I'm one of the only people who DON'T think Jack was alive before he ended up in Halloweentown, but was born there to the king and queen, King Martimus the Terrible and Queen Viyasha the calm (a green-furred monster and a vampire, respectively). He was not interested in the title of Pumpkin king at ALL as a youth, preferring to spend his time reading instead of learning how to strike fear. This angered his father, and he hired a Scream Tutor for the young prince, a horned demon named OOGIE BOOGIE (hang on, I'll explain). For a while, things seemed to be going smoothly, until the mysterious death of the king. As queen, Viyasha took over the town, but soon she was held captive in her own home by the power-hungry Oogie, who had killed the king in an attempt to rule Halloween for himself. Distraught and heart-broken, Young jack vowed that one day he would get revenge on Oogie.
