Did you ever reach the final battle at the Lonely Mountain over the Heart of the Mountain diamond? When Thorin died, I almost cried. But I was VERY suprised to learn that Gimli was Gloin's son in LOTR.

I can't remember too well. Anything close to the ending is a blur for me. I used to be able to recite all the names of the dwarves like it was my job, and now I can't remember em for the life of me

Hmm....I need to reread it again. tis a great book. Jem, you HAVE to read the LOTR series. It's the greatest.
Has anyone read Smith of Wooton major and Farmer Giles of Ham? They're two short stories that Tolkein wrote, and I love them to itty bitty pieces.
