Victoria is one of the strongest characters in the film. She doesn't fixate herself on one goal, unable to move on like Emily was. She isn't as skittish as Victor. She has an open mind. She tries her best to fix what went wrong. And although she was almost broken at the end, she still has the spunk to insult her husband (barkis) and walk out to find out what is going on.
I don't know. I just admire her a lot.
(And on a random sidenote inspired by Tara's post, I can see BJ and Hildegard. I mean. In the movie his arm was around her the entire time at the church. And they looked cute! ok, Done now.)

lol, glad someone else noticed that part in the church. I saw a pic of BJ (I was trying to get all of em ;P), and I saved it cause he looked so funny, then I looked closer and went "Whoa, he definitely ain't sittin with the other skeletons and corpses!"
And then I noticed his right arm was around Hildegard. Heheh
But Hildegard can't hold a candle to the fangirls

No, if only cause the fangirls would swipe it from her (and she's so old. But she is one of the sweetest people in the movie. And so underappreciated.)

Not a stupid question really. You know the old lady who dusted out the safe in the beginning, and was being really nice to Victoria while her parents were being all mean and nasty? She's the one who was talking about how everything goes where the sea takes us, and was weeping. "Hildy will get you a blanket dearie" "GEt her a straightjacket!" That old lady. I love her, she's so sweet...

I didn't like her that much. SHe kind of annoyed me. But that may be because I'm a former Victor/Emily shipper. But, now that I've discovered the wonder that is Bonejangles/Emily, I don't hate her so much any more! And BJ/Emily makes for better fics anyway.

I had a BJ/E fic that I was going to post here, but the disc I had it on had something wrong with it, so now I have to rewrite the whole thing in all it's unbelievably long, detailed glory! *sarcastically* Yay...

If anything, Emily could be annoying at times. Even Victor, for that matter. But that's your opinion and that's fine. I personally think Victoria is very sweet and she also wanted to help find Victor too, which really does something for her role. |
